Current Focus
The TrinityGroup has recently
repositioned itself after completing a four year relationship with
Above the
Treeline, a 2003 start up company that provides innovative business analysis tools designed
to serve both retailers and publishers in the trade and
Christian book market. TrinityGroup consultant Bob Steele
served in many roles as they company grew. Responsibilities
included business development as well as account management
and training for suppliers and retailers.
Through
America Direct,
a holding company with multiple inter-related enterprises
including American Christian Lists, Master Sunday Bulletins
and Christian Direct, the organization provides marketing
and direct sales services.

Founded
by Bob Steele in 1986, Trinity & Associates, Inc. has
been active in
several diverse business sectors over the years, including Business Management, Organizational
Development, Management Training/Seminars, Retail Book Store
Design and Internet eCommerce. The TrinityGroup and it's founder
Bob Steele have worked with over 150 organizations including multinationals,
financial institutions, state and federal government agencies, church bodies,
denominations, volunteer organizations, health centers and a wide variety of
Christian retail bookstores, distributors and suppliers.

During the 1980’s, Bob held senior executive positions in a start up business, Spring
Arbor Distributors, that grew to over 80 million during his tenure with the
organization. He directed Retail Services, Operational and Sales & Marketing units. |

From 1989 to 1998, Bob
concentrated on the management training and organizational development needs of small groups and cross-functional teams in
large organizations as well as small and medium-sized service and fast
growth organizations. Also included in the client mix were denominational
and independent churches. He has focused on providing solutions to needs in:
organization restructuring, management of change, small group and team
development, one-on-one coaching for improved performance, conflict
management, identification and development of key leaders, strategic
planning and project
management. |

Another phase of
the company was initiated in 1993 with the establishment of Trinity Design & Fixtures.
Over 60 Christian retail bookstores were designed and remodeled. This
service is no longer available, but Mr. Steele remains active in design field
as an Advisory Board member of IntegrawGP
Design, an industry leader in store design. |

In 1996, Bob created and launched
TrinityZone.com, the Internet's first full scale eCommerce Christian
Bookstore with over 70,000 products available for purchase via secured
credit card transactions. TrinityZone was one of 36 beta testers for
Microsoft's
Site Server Commerce software. The store was launched at a
press
conference with Bill Gates when Microsoft announced their entering
eCommerce. In January of 1998, Microsoft spotlighted TrinityZone in a
Microsoft Case
Study. The store was sold in May of 1999 to
crosswalk.com, the premiere portal site for the online Christian community
at that time. Crosswalk.com
dropped their pursuit of company owned ecommerce and closed the store in
April, 2000. |

In the fall of 2000,
Mr. Steele accepted a short term position with Ingram Book Company as Vice
President of Marketing and Business Development for the
Spring Arbor
division. In 2002, he returned full time to Trinity & Associates, Inc. |

In
mid 2004, Bob began consulting with a start up business
analysis service provider for the book industry,
Above the
Treeline and provided sales, education,
training and support functions for the organization. |

Residing in
Franklin, TN, (Nashville area), Bob is now focusing the company in multiple
areas within the book industry supply chain arena and overseeing
Master Sunday
Bulletins, a division of
America Direct. |
