Spring Arbor Hires Industry
VeteranSteele to Head Up Business
Development and Marketing Units

Fran Salamon, President of Spring Arbor
Distributors announced today that they hired industry veteran
and Spring Arbor alumni, Bob Steele to the position of VP of
Marketing & Business Development. In this role, Bob will focus
on developing, directing, and coordinating the organizations
marketing efforts to ensure the growth and expansion of
company products and services. In addition to his marketing
responsibilities, Bob will also be responsible for research
and development of new market and business opportunities.
Bob originally joined Spring Arbor in 1980
where he held executive positions in the Retail Services and
Sales & Marketing units. He resigned in 1987 to launch Trinity
& Associates, a consulting firm concentrating on management
training and organizational development needs. He focused on
providing solutions in organizational restructuring,
communications skills, change management, team & small group
development, conflict management, and strategic planning.
In 1993 he established Trinity Design &
Fixtures, resetting and designing over 60 Christian retail
bookstores. Then again in 1996, Mr. Steele created and
launched another organization, TrinityZone.com, the Internet's
first full scale eCommerce Christian Bookstore. The store was
sold in May of 1999 to
crosswalk.com.
Bob states "I am excited to be a part of the
Spring Arbor organization once again. There have been a lot of
changes in our industry since I first became involved. I look
forward to helping retailers with services designed to get the
right products in and out of their stores quickly, efficiently
and profitably. This is going to be fun!"
The position is effective September 11, 2000.
Bob currently resides in Franklin, TN where he will soon be
joined by his wife Betty, now located in Ann Arbor, MI.
